St. Francis Xavier Catholic Secondary School opened in 2013 and is the Board’s newest secondary school. Our state-of-the-art facility includes a seasonal dome that allows students to use the sports field during the cold winter months.
St. Francis Xavier prepares students for post-secondary success by offering a wide variety of experiential learning activities that provide “real world” experiences within the core curriculum courses.

Specialist High Skills Major Program (SHSM)
The Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) Program provides students who have specific post-secondary destinations in mind (University, College, Apprenticeship, Career) with courses and other related opportunities that ultimately help them to achieve their post-secondary goals.
