Our payment options typically cost less than using in-branch teller services or ATMs and allow you to check your transactions online as they are processed.
International Payments
All international payments that are paid from outside of Canada are required to use Flywire.
Flywire allows you to pay your fees in the currency of your choice, in both an efficient and inexpensive manner.
How to Use Flywire
Step 1: Access Flywire
You will be directed to the secure link to Flywire during the application process.
Step 2: Enter Personal Details
Select the country you are applying from and the student’s Level of Study (Elementary or Secondary).
Step 3: Enter Payment Details
Enter the payment details, which includes information about the person paying the fees, and your preferred language for the emailed payment instructions.
Please contact us if your home country’s currency is not listed.
Step 4: Select Method of Payment
A number of available payment options will be listed once you select your country of origin, select the method that you prefer to make your payment in.
Step 5: Enter Personal Details
Enter your birthdate and other personal details.
Step 6: Print the Payment Instructions
You will receive the payment instructions via the email you provided. Follow the payment instructions to complete the payment in person at your bank, or you can complete the payment online if your bank offers online banking.

If you are unable to make a payment using Flywire, please ensure:
- You have entered the correct information in all the required fields
- Your pop-up blocker is disabled

Canadian Payments
Please use your Canadian bank account to make payments within Canada using online banking.
How to Use Online Banking
Step 1: Create a Canadian Bank Account
You will need to create a bank account with one of the Canadian banking institutions listed below.

Step 2: Create a Bill Payment Account
To make payments to the HCDSB, you will need to create a Bill Payment Account with your selected Canadian banking institution. This can be done online or in person at the bank.
Step 3: Add the HCDSB as a “Payee“
Add the Halton Catholic District School Board as a Payee in your Bill Payment Account. Do this by using the Search function to find “HALTON CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD”.
Please note that this will not be available if your bank is not listed above under Step 1.
Step 4: Add Student ID Number
When completing your payment details make sure to add the student’s ISP/True North ID Number (9-digit number). This unique number allows the International Student Program Department to quickly confirm your payments.
If you are transferring from another school board in Canada, or if you are a new student, please contact us at isp@hcdsb.org for further instructions if you do not already have a ISP/True North ID Number.
Step 5: Add the Payment Amount
Add the amount to be paid to the Board by referring to the fees indicated on the invoice or letter you received.
