Our Welcome Centre has valuable resources for students, parents, guardians and homestay providers about the Halton Catholic District School Board, and also about additional community services that are available in Halton. The Welcome Centre is located in Oakville.
During the Intake & Assessment appointment, new students will meet with International Student Program staff in order to confirm that all required registration documents have been submitted. Without all documents and full payment, students will not be permitted to attend school. New students will also have their math and English skills assessed by a teacher. This assessment will determine their placement in Secondary School courses, and will also determine their English as-a-Second Language (ESL) Level Placement.
