Halton Region is a regional Municipality of Ontario, Canada. It is located in Southern Ontario in the southwest part of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Halton is comprised of the City of Burlington and the Towns of Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills.

Halton is well situated between Toronto, which is about 33 km east of Halton Region, and Niagara Falls, which is about 72 km west.
